Eyewear production in Linz natural gas-free from April 2026We are completely eliminating fossil natural gas at our Linz location. By electrifying key production steps, our eyewear production will operate 100% without fossil natural gas starting in April 2026. This will save us several hundred megawatt-hours of natural gas and more than 100 tons of CO₂e annually.

Milestone Reached: 1,000,000 kg of CO₂e Avoided!On July 7, 2025, our photovoltaic system at our Linz site reached a significant milestone: Since the first system was commissioned in 2020, our on-site solar power generation has resulted in the calculated avoidance of more than 1,000 metric tons of CO₂e.
