Climate neutral electricity

Given that most of the energy consumed at Silhouette Group’s manufacturing plants is electrical, cutting down on electricity consumption is incredibly important. In fact, it also plays a key role in our commitment to keep our manufacturing sites at the heart of Europe.

The factories have been running on an environmentally friendly mix of renewable energy (zero carbon, guaranteed) since 2017. In addition, Silhouette never relies on nuclear energy. Using 100% renewable energy from sources like wind power, solar power, small hydroelectric power and biomass power plants enables the Silhouette Group to consume energy without producing carbon dioxide emissions.

But that’s not the only positive - it also means that the company is investing in regenerative energy and helping to usher in a new era of clean energy.
