The HOUSE OF SILHOUETTE in the historic Palais Herberstein in Vienna brings all three brands of the Silhouette Group—Silhouette, NEUBAU EYEWEAR and evil eye—together under one roof for the first time. In an interview, the store team explains why a visit to the HOUSE OF SILHOUETTE is a real experience.

Johannes Kern: At the HOUSE OF SILHOUETTE, vision tests at the highest level are a key part of our consultation. Of course, we use state-of-the-art technology to precisely analyze the physical characteristics of our customers' eyes, allowing us to tailor glasses that provide optimal vision. This service, offered in a relaxed yet highly professional atmosphere, reflects our commitment to delivering a top-tier visual experience.
What about style consultations? They would definitely make a visit to the store a special experience.
Fabian Mischek: Absolutely! Our customer journey focuses on health and style. In addition to various sight tests, we also offer comprehensive advice on eyewear. We focus in particular on giving advice on aesthetics, color, and type. As well as the physical fitting, an online tool is also available for a virtual fitting. This is how we can ensure that every customer finds the perfect eyewear—conveniently and in their own way.
What else can customers expect from the House of Silhouette, apart from optical services?
Noah Rydel: The journey at the HOUSE OF SILHOUETTE doesn’t end after the consultation. We also offer products for optical care and everyday needs. Each pair of eyewear is presented in a high-quality case and comes with care instructions. We are also available for customer service, repairs, and maintenance. Our goal is for customers to feel completely at ease and to enjoy coming back to the HOUSE OF SILHOUETTE again and again.

Johannes Kern has been working as a master optician and optometrist for many years. As an optometrist, he also gained experience in a Swiss clinic specializing in ophthalmology. His extensive knowledge of vision assessment and measurement enables him to conduct highly detailed vision analyses. For him, the well-being and individual care of every customer are always the top priority.

As a passionate Master Optician, Noah Rydel knows how to combine design and sport—subjects that particularly inspire him. He uses his strong technical expertise to focus on innovative solutions with the highest level of precision.
Fabian Mischek

Fabian Mischek discovered his passion for optical eyewear during an internship—and today, as a Master Optician, he is known for his fine sense of design and aesthetics. He uses his creative expertise to enrich every consultation and find the eyewear that perfectly suits the customer’s individual style.
