SPX® Green+

For decades, SPX® has redefined the standards of eyewear. Ultra-light, exceptionally flexible, and impressively durable, it has set a new benchmark for frames designed to meet the demands of the ambitious and forward-thinking. However, at the Silhouette Group, our commitment to continuous improvement and our unwavering focus on the future of our planet have led us to launch the latest groundbreaking material for our core brand Silhouette.

SPX® Green+ is a highly innovative bio-circular material with minimal environmental footprint. Using organic residues, such as agricultural and forestry by-products rather than growing new feedstock, no corresponding cultivation areas are required, which saves space and increases biodiversity.

Through a process powered entirely by 100% renewable energy, these raw materials are transformed into a material that eliminates the need for fossil oil and reduces carbon emissions by up to 60% (compared to fossil-based materials).

SPX® Green+ is an outstanding milestone for us. With the introduction of our bio-circular material, we are placing a clear focus on the sustainability of our products.

SPX® Green+ doesn’t just deliver sustainability—it also offers the same exceptional stability, flexibility, and functionality as SPX®. Our frames remain ultra-light for unmatched wearing comfort.

With SPX® Green+ making its debut in the Silhouette Clear Sky Collection, we are setting a new benchmark where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. This eyewear marks a first in combining unparalleled quality with a bold commitment to the planet’s future, offering a perfect harmony of design, functionality, and eco-conscious responsibility.
